Recovery Officer

NCSL Savings and Loan Society NCSL is currently undergoing an exciting transformative journey to further enhance its service to members and to be ready for the future.

To strengthen our Risk and Compliance Team and to be part of this transformative journey, we are inviting applicants for the following position.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure non-performing loans are kept at an absolute minimum at agreed threshold at any one time,
• Proactively identify appropriate recovery action on all non-performing loan accounts and take appropriate action for timely recovery of monies owed,
• Constant dialogue to be maintained with members and member’s payroll regarding timely loan remittances,
• Liaise with members and external parties to reach amicable loan repayment arrangements,
• Undertake timely recovery action (notices, demand, legal or otherwise) to commence once defaulting member is identified,
• Keep loan write-offs to an absolute minimum and within approved budget levels

Essential Qualifications, Technical Skills & Experience:

• Strong analytical skills and accurate business judgement.
• Proven exposure in SME Collections.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Relevant Diploma Qualification in Business Management, Banking & Finance or related field.
• Strong customer experience and ability to interact and cooperate with all staff and maintain professionalism that meets company core values.
