We are currently seeking a Media and Communication Officer based at our Head Office and
reporting to the Manager – Marketing & Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate media relations, press engagements, and community awareness activities.
- Prepare media releases, speeches, marketing content, and member
announcements. - Develop and implement internal and external communications to support NCSL’s strategic objectives.
- Manage digital and social media platforms, ensuring timely and engaging content.
- Execute marketing and member education campaigns across branches and digital channels.
- Uphold brand guidelines and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Provide monthly reports to Marketing Manager within required time frames,
Essential Qualifications, Technical Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field,
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in media and public relations roles.
- Strong writing and content development skills.
- Experience managing social media, digital platforms, and media engagement.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial services or member-based organizations is an advantage.
