NCSL, the largest Savings and Loan Society in PNG with over 175,000 members, is currently undergoing an exciting transformative journey to further enhance the service to members and to be ready for the future.
We are currently seeking a Branch Manager Port Moresby, based at our Boroko Branch and reporting to the Area Manager-Southern Region.
Key Responsibilities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the POM Branches to proactively drive membership growth within Port Moresby and catchment area,
- Ensure that respective branch officers conduct regular employer visits to promote NCSL’s products and services and the use of the Digital Channels and Services,
- Manage and ensures branch officers contribute to selling a targeted number of loans that will contribute to both NCSL’s loan interest and fee income,
- Communicate clear strategies to the team to drive business expectations whilst ensuring staff comply with set policies and procedures and ensure branch expenses are under control and within budget,
- Regularly review Branch processes to ensure compliance and address any issues that may arise within the Branches,
- Ensure control mechanism are in place to ensure staff observe all policies & procedures to avoid fraud or non – compliance.
Essential Qualifications, Technical Skills & Experience:
- Possess more than 5 years’ experience managing teams and providing customer service and support in a similar setting,
- Diploma Qualification in Lending, Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Banking & Finance, Accounting or related field,
- Must possess a Class 3 or Class 6 Driver’s License,
- Conduct to the highest ethical standards by being open and honest, meeting commitments, developing trusting relationships with all stakeholders and accountable for results
